BMT

A bone marrow transplant requires an extended hospital stay in isolation, making it essential to create a comforting, personal space to aid in physical and emotional healing.

Wigs

For many cancer patients, wigs provide essential comfort and confidence during treatment, especially when cold capping isn't an option.

Daisy Retreats

We support cancer warriors and their caregivers by offering moments of healing for the mind, body, and soul during their challenging journey.

Cold Cap

The cold cap helps reduce chemotherapy-induced hair loss by cooling the scalp before, during, and after treatment to protect cells and the scalp.

Scholarships

The Alayna Jayne Foundation (AJF) is proud to offer two scholarships each year: one for Monmouth University and another for a graduating senior from St Rose, Alayna's high school.

Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results.

Our Mission

To provide meaningful financial assistance and support to adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients throughout every stage of their cancer journey.

From cold caps and wigs to bone marrow transplant room makeovers and Daisy Retreats.

We are deeply committed to raising awareness among the general public and the medical community about the distinct needs of AYA cancer patients.

There truly are no words to describe how special last week was. 🤍🌼

We had the most incredible Daisy Retreat at @marysplacebythesea , and we cannot thank them enough for helping us bring this retreat to life. Mary’s Place created such a beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming space for our girls and their moms to rest, connect, heal, and simply be taken care of. From the moment we arrived, they made everyone feel so loved and supported.

Our Daisy Retreats bring together young women impacted by cancer and their moms for a few days focused on connection, self-care, healing, and making memories outside of cancer. Because the caregivers deserve to be cared for too. 🤍

A HUGE thank you to @tartecosmetics for coming to glam our girls and absolutely spoiling everyone with goodies! 💄✨ Thank you to @itsmaureenkelly and the entire Tarte team for making our girls feel so beautiful and loved.

Congratulations to our most recent scholarship recipient, Juliana!

Juliana will be attending the University of Scranton to pursue a degree in nursing. At The Alayna Jayne Foundation, we are proud to support students whose lives have been impacted by cancer, whether through their own diagnosis or the experience of a loved one.

Juliana embodies the strength, compassion, resilience, and determination that Alayna has demonstrated throughout her cancer journey. We know she will carry those qualities with her as she pursues her dream of becoming a nurse and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

What a beautiful night we had at The Spring Soirée Fundraiser hosted by Monmouth Ocean Regional Realtors, MORR to benefit The Alayna Jayne Foundation.

As Nichelle excitedly prepares for her upcoming Prom – a significant and cherished milestone in any teenager’s life – she shared how incredibly thrilled she is. Bradley Beach and Neptune City Host Life-Saving Bone Marrow Swab Drives to Support Local Teen
NEPTUNE CITY & BRADLEY BEACH, NJ –

Community members in Neptune City and Bradley Beach are coming together this April to host two bone marrow donor registry drives aimed at finding a match for a local teenager and expanding the national registry for all patients in need of a transplant.
Finding a donor match can be the difference between life and death for those battling blood cancers and disorders. These upcoming events offer residents a simple, tangible way to potentially save a life through a process that takes less than five minutes.

Today is my rebirthday. Two years since my bone marrow transplant, the day that gave me a second chance at life.

A rebirthday marks the moment everything begins again. When your body is given the chance to heal, to rebuild, and to keep going. It is the day that saved my life, and I carry that with me in everything I do.

I feel so deeply blessed to be here today. To be healthy. To be moving forward. To be living a life that once felt so uncertain.

In these two years, I have grown in ways I never imagined. I am about to graduate nursing school in May. I am continuing to build my foundation and support others who are walking a journey I understand so personally. Most importantly, I am learning what it truly means to live. To slow down, to be present, to embrace every moment, and to live life as fully and purely as I can.

This journey has also given me the most incredible people. The love and support I have received from my family, friends, doctors, nurses, and the cancer community has carried me through everything. Those connections mean more to me than I could ever explain.

Today is a reminder of how far I have come and how much there is still ahead. I am so grateful for this life, this second chance, and every single moment.

Thriving and surviving. Two years down. A lifetime to go.

Congratulations to the 2025 Alayna Jayne Foundation Scholarship Winner Kailyn Bloch!

We are so proud to support a student whose dedication, resilience, and passion truly embody the Alayna Jayne Foundation. The future is bright keep shining!

This scholarship is for sophomore nursing students who either have personally experienced cancer or have had cancer affect a close family member. These recipients maintained a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated a commitment to community service.

Also featured are our 2024 winners Elena Volpe and Sophia Skowronski. Congratulations to you both!

We want to share the heart behind the Alayna Jayne Foundation. Alayna is 22 years old and a senior in nursing school, passionate about creating real change for young adults in the cancer world.

The foundation began with her first battle with cancer at the age of 17, and it continues to grow through the love, strength, and dedication that Alayna and her mom pour into it together.
